About Annie
Annie and her family live in Arden Arcade, not far from where she and her mom called home after moving from Southern California. Just as she was, Annie’s daughters are students in the San Juan Unified School District.
A graduate of California State University, Fullerton, Annie earned a BA in Anthropology with a Minor in US History. To pay her tuition, living expenses, and student loans, Annie worked as a bartender.
While bartending, Annie served on the union organizing and negotiation teams, helping to secure the original collective bargaining agreement for the W Hotel Hollywood.
These days, Annie is happy to serve her community as a State Employee, a Sports Mom, and an Activist for local community based organizations. Her husband, Chris, serves on the Board of the Fulton-El Camino Park and Recreation District.
