Annie Brown is running to represent Michigan's 66th House District, covering VanBuren County and northern Kalamazoo County. She is committed to increasing education funding, creating jobs, and making Lansing work for the people of Michigan.
Growing up in a small town, Annie Brown was taught to work hard, be brave, and speak up for the underdogs. These values led to lifelong public service, including roles as an aide to Senator Carl Levin, a newspaper editor, a preschool teacher, and 11 years on the South Haven Public School Board.
Annie knows that our community and our families need a sensible voice in Lansing. She is committed to fighting for our local schools, protecting our seniors, and making Michigan's government work for everyone.
Learn how you can help elect Annie, and get Lansing working for Michigan families. Whether you'd like to hit the doors, host a fundraiser, or enter data, there's plenty of work to be done between now and November!
Last week the crocuses popped up and Pure Michigan launched its new spring advertising campaign with Tim Allen’s soothing voice reminding us “...enjoying the journey is always pure Michigan.”
However, in Van Buren County the journey for many families is long, hard and pitted with poverty.
